Cancelling after a premium increase
Your insurer is raising its premium: you can cancel basic insurance at the end of the year.
A premium increase does not create a special cancellation deadline for ordinary basic insurance: the usual deadline (receipt before 30 November, effective 1 January) applies.
- 1Compare other insurers' premiums as soon as they are announced (usually late October).
- 2If you switch, send your cancellation before 30 November.
- 3On an alternative model (HMO, family-doctor, Telmed), check the conditions specific to the model.
