No, deductible changes only happen at the start of the year. Applications must be made before December 31st.

Which LAMal deductible should I choose?

Deductibles range from CHF 300 to CHF 2,500. A high deductible is advantageous if you are healthy and rarely see a doctor.

Before December 31st directly to your insurer: by post, email or online portal. The new deductible applies from January 1st.

You can change your deductible with the same insurer effective 1 January. The request must arrive before the end of November.
